A variety style show presented in a telethon showcase. Acts include a comedian, a magician, a brass section, the world’s worst juggler, and too much to include. This is a free show, but donations will be greatly appreciated. Come to Our Town Theatre at 7:00 PM.

This is a poetry reading in the District at Shoofly Java. Join C. Jonathan Anderson and his band of well intentioned literate’s on his mission to “bring poetry to the people.” We share spoken word, sometimes performative, but always with an open mind and heart. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to share an original or a favorite poem, prose, or short-short story with the group. This is an open mic style event with no sign-up sheet.

Beer walk, lemonade stroll, seltzer… you get the picture. This is a party! There will be a duck race for a cash prize, a corn hole tournament, a pie eating contest, live music throughout the District, and plenty of kids activities.

Come have a block party with the Garrett County Arts Council and enjoy some live music featuring The Cooley Gang! This event will have beverages and snacks to enjoy. Free to all GCAC members or $25. at the door.
